QBS Activities - Term 2
Dear Parents,
QBS Activities (Clubs) for Term 2 will be available to book online via the Gateway from 6pm Tuesday, 10th January.
The QBS Activity Booklet is also available to view online on our website under Community>Clubs. This ‘flipbook’ will give you general information only.
To enrol in an activity you must login with your Parent Gateway family login and visit the ‘Activities>Activity’ page. If you cannot login or are having problems then please visit our FAQ page for initial guidance.
• You will only be able to view and therefore register for Activities (Clubs) available for your child’s year band.
• Year 1 students can’t participate in QBS Activities.
• The clubs are available now to view only.
• If you have not paid the yearly QBS Activity fee ($300) then please submit this payment before booking opens. The ‘Register Now’ link will only be available if the QBS activity fee has been submitted to Nurse Delia (Clubs Co-ord.).
• If you paid the fee during Term 1 then there is no need to pay again and the ‘Register Now’ link will be available.
• Cheques for $300 (annual payment) should be made payable to ‘Quarry Bay School’
• Please read the comments by clicking the Club title as this has information about the club.
• Registration will close at 12noon on Friday, 13th January.
• Once registered you will be marked as 'Pending'.
• Activity registration status under the ‘My Activities’ tab will be updated at 4pm on Monday 16th January to either ‘Enrolled’ or ‘Not Accepted’
Registration Procedure
• Registration will open at 6pm on Tuesday, 10th January.
• View available activities on the activities page under the ‘School Activities Guide’ tab.
• Click ‘Register Now’ next to the club you would like your child to join. (‘OK’ to confirm).
• If ‘Register Now’ link is not available then you have not paid the fee.
• Under the ‘My Activities’ tab the club chosen will show ‘Pending’.
• Your activity registration status under the ‘My Activities’ tab will be updated at 4pm on Monday 16th January to either ‘Enrolled’ or ‘Not Accepted’.
• ‘Not Accepted’? – The activity is probably full.
After School Activity School Bus
Once your child has been ‘Enrolled’ and the activity bus is required then please submit the application form.
The form is available to download and complete by clicking the Jackson Bus banner on the club page. Please return this form to our Clubs Co-ordinator (Nurse Delia) by Friday 13th January.
PTA Notification
Please notify our PTA ( pta@qbs.edu.hk) if your child has been enrolled and will not be using the normal school bus on that day.

Year 3: I Love Books, ICT, Cooking, Chinese Word Processing, Traditional Visual Sketching, Exploring Chinese Culture, Skipping
Year 4: Traditional Visual Sketching, Exploring Chinese Culture, Creative Calligraphy, Basketball, Cricket, Skipping
Year 5: Traditional Visual Sketching, Exploring Chinese Culture, Creative Calligraphy, Basketball, Cricket, Skipping
Year 6: Traditional Visual Sketching, Exploring Chinese Culture, Creative Calligraphy, Basketball, Cricket, Skipping
* Please note that Performing Music Groups, Rugby, Disco Dancing and Battle of the Books will continue. There will be no need to apply again if your child is already registered from Term 1.
+ For Performing Music Groups, if your child is interested they MUST speak to Ms. O’Rorke or Mr. Lee. If they are accepted by the Music Dept. then the teacher will inform me and I will register your child.
