PTA (Parent / Teacher Association)

All parents are automatic PTA members and their work is led by a committee of appointed representatives from both parent and teacher groups. The current Chairperson of the PTA Committee is Ms Wen Zhang.

The committee work closely with the school to promote links between the parents and the school and to facilitate discussions on general school matters. They organise events within the school to promote a community spirit and to raise funds to improve the educational environment, for the benefit of the students. The PTA Committee rely on the support of the wider parent body when organising main events within school and all parents are encouraged to contribute in any way they can.

In addition to this committee of volunteers the PTA employ three paid members of staff and they offer a variety of services. The PTA operates a bus service for PTA member's children to and from the School. The PTA also operates the QBS School Shop which supplies school uniforms and other goods (such as stationery items and gym bags) to the pupils of QBS. The PTA endeavours to ensure that high quality and competitive prices are always maintained.

School shop hours during term time are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8.00am to 11am & 12noon to 4.00pm.
